Teaching
I currently teach undergraduate graduate courses at the Quinlan school of business on business ethics and ethical leadership. I have previously taught a similar course at Georgetown University's McDonough School of business, as well as courses in American Political Thought (University of Toronto), Intro to Political Theory (University of Rochester), and The Political Thought of Frederick Douglass (University of Rochester). If you would like to see any of these previous syllabi, please e-mail me.
For Quinlan students: I am willing to supervise independent studies (MGMT 395 ) for those who have taken MGMT341 (preferably with me), received a high mark (A- or higher), and demonstrated enthusiasm and commitment on the topic they want to study. I have also served as advisor for students outside of Quinlan. But buyer beware: I am extremely demanding in terms of reading, likely more so than most management students are used to. Supervisees should expect to read a number of challenging theoretical texts and books under my supervision, and will be expected to put a lot of effort into a final writing assignment. If you're still game, get in touch and we can talk.
